What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. But please, feel free to share comments and suggestions from my upcoming presentation at ICCFA Annual Convention, “How to Stay Relevant with Customers in 2018,” at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
ICCFA is the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association, the only international trade association representing all segments of the cemetery, funeral service, cremation and memorialization profession.
I spoke to the Pet Loss Professionals Alliance (PLPA), a group owned by the ICCFA, back in October and I’ve been invited back to speak again.
I was raised in the funeral industry. My parents and grandparents owned and operated Silcox-Merritt Funeral Home in Cumberland, MD. Our family funeral home installed the first crematory in Western Maryland more than 25 years ago. My childhood is filled with unique stories about what it’s like to be raised in the funeral business.
Now I get to unite all my various experiences and stories once again for a presentation to a group that does business in an industry that I’m very familiar with. I’ll be speaking about how to stay relevant with customers and your audience in 2018. I’ll be covering where to spend your time online, how to connect with your audience on the platforms they use, how to monitor and build your online reputation, how to appear trustworthy online, becoming a content curator for your audience, making sure your marketing is mobile friendly, and making smart decision with analytics.
Join me at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, April 18-21st. Vegas Baby!
